Currently, she is a part of the\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.buffalo.edu\/cpmc\/cstep.html\">Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program<\/a><\/span> (CSTEP)<\/span> and\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/engineering.buffalo.edu\/home\/outreach\/diversity\/minorities\/lsamp.html\">Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP)<\/a><\/span><\/span> program. Both programs seek to aid\u00a0historically underrepresented minority students majoring in STEM with graduate school preparation.\u00a0She is also\u00a0conducting research in methane oxidation over Pd\/SSZ-13 using Density Functional Theory (DFT). Her interest in computational chemistry began when she finished her first year at UB and completed Chemistry II and an engineering computations course. Along with being able to code in MATLAB, she hopes to learn different programming languages such as Python and Linux.\u00a0After she\u00a0graduates, she intends to go to graduate school to obtain a PhD in engineering.<\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/angela-aguirre-b235a3214\"><u>LinkedIn<\/u><\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Angela is a sophomore in UB Honors College pursuing\u00a0a Bachelor of Science degree.
