Sophie is currently a junior pursuing a B.S. in Chemical Engineering at UB. Her interest in clean energy engineering led to her working with Prof. Kyriakidou’s lab. She synthesized Pt-Pd/SiO2(core)@CeO2(shell) diesel oxidation catalysts with enhanced low temperature performance. She also assisted building-up a pressurized reactor for CO2 hydrogenation in Prof. Kyriakidou’s lab.
