Jacob’s undergraduate research focused on membrane separation using both hollow-fiber and flat-sheet membranes. Jacob also conducted research with the TU Dortmund for a summer internship in the field of depth filter efficiency as well as the kinetics of particles through such filters. Jacob is excited to work in the field of heterogeneous catalysis due to his passion for sustainability as this technology can help reduce carbon emissions while also converting to a product that can be both lucrative and non-polluting.
